my favorite drugstore hair products.

I am a product junkie when it comes to hair care. Starting at a young<br>age I only used salon products. However, my wallet soon got so sad at the ravenous prices. So I began experimenting with drugstore hair care products. A lot of drugstore products do just as well for a fraction of salon hair care prices. I have long, medium thick dark brown/black hair that is naturally straight. I have an oily scalp so I MUST wash everyday. Here are a few of my favorites:

Neautrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo - I use this Anti-Residue shampoo whenever I switch my shampoo’s and/or conditioners. It strips the heavy residue from my previous shampoo and conditioner so my strands get a fresh new start. When you start needing more shampoo to get a really good lather, it is time for this shampoo. I highly recommend.

Neutrogena Triple Moisture Cream Lather Shampoo - This is a great smelling shampoo and it lathers wonderfully. It is very moisturizing yet cleans extremely well. I use it along with the matching conditioner and I always get great results. When using the conditioner, a little goes a long way.

John Frieda Frizz-Ease hair Serum Thermal Protection - My go-to frizz serum. There are about 3 different formulation for the John Frida Frizz-Ease (original, extra strength, and thermal protection) I use the thermal protection since I usually use my blow-dryer and flat-iron on some days. The smell is so yummy! I put on after my hair is slightly damp, I blow dry using a round brush, and BAM! my hair is sleek.

L’Oreal Evercreme Cleansing Conditoner - This is L’Oreal’s new line of EverCreme. I tried the new Cleansing Conditioner which is a one step cleanser that moisturizes as it cleanses. It is kind of like a 2-in-1 shampoo only it really nourishes your hair instead of drying it out. It doesn’t lather but it still cleaned my hair extremely well and as I described above, I have medium thick hair and an oily scalp. I think it is a great way to save your hair from the drying effects of shampoo. Also, the smell is absolutely divine, smells like vanilla and fig mmmmm!
